How to get the most out of your cooler?
Shoot for a 50-50 Ratio when packing. 50% food/drinks, 50% Ice. Start with a layer of ice then a layer of food and drinks, repeat until your cooler is full to the brim.
How long will ice last in my cooler?
Your Lone Mountain Cooler will hold ice for 5-13 days depending on if its a 20qt or a 110qt.
What size is best for me?
20qt is for day trips with 1 or 2 people
35qts is best for day use for families, or weekend trips for 1 person
45qts Is our most common cooler for families that are weekend warriors
75qts is best for 4-6 Day Camping trips and Large families
110Qts are perfect to fit your boned out elk! Or for those Memorial weekend Parties when you dont want to risk running out of beer!!
How durable are the coolers?
You get extreme durability out of Lone mountain Rotomolded coolers. You can throw them around without worrying about them, they're gonna last forever. We've had 2 customers share stories about them falling out of the truck on the highway, other than road rash the shell remained intact, and Ice retention wasn't affected!
Are the coolers Bear Proof?
All of Lone Mountain Coolers are IGBC Tested and Certified. Each cooler was subjected to the IGBC live-bear testing protocol and successfully passed the test. This means the Lone Mountain 20QT Cooler meets minimum IGBC bear-resistant design and structural standards, but is not a guarantee that a bearcannot gain entry into the product.
Is there a warranty on my cooler?
Our coolers have a lifetime warranty on them. It will cover everything except for negligence and abuse. Normally it's just your components that have to get replaced. Your latches last anywhere from two to four years, depending on how much time they spend out in the sun. The shells themselves are near bulletproof.
